Stairlifts are very costly to purchase - wrong!

Stairlift prices vary greatly across the different makes and bespoke nature of the product as very few staircases are alike. In fact, stairlift prices are less now than they were 10 years ago and for your comfort and safety they come with more and more added extras. We recommend you get at least three quotes for your new stairlift but please take into account more than the price! Here at Phoenix Stairlifts our prices are fair and the customer service is second to none. We partner with Acorn Stairlifts and if you contact them via this site you will instantly get a £500 discount on your order due to the volume of work we supply. Quality of the product and installation is essential, and well worth paying for. What price do you put on peace of mind for the safety of a loved one or yourself?

Stairlifts are costly to run - wrong!

As technology improves so does the cost of running your stairlift. Our stairlifts operate on Direct Current (DC) rechargeable batteries which cost just pennies per day.

My walls will not support a Stairlift - they don’t need to!

It’s a common misconception that stairlifts are attached to the wall via a rail. In fact all residential household stairlifts are fixed to the tread of your stairs which is the part you would normally stand on. This means they are stable and strong and can carry in excess of 25 stone.

What if there is a power cut?

No need to worry. All our stairlifts are powered by trickled charged batteries so there is no way you can get stuck on the stairs if there is a power cut. The stairlift batteries are constantly being charged, and if the power stopped completely then your stairlift would still work for 3-4 days on the batteries alone! (That’s an estimate based on 7 return journeys per day.) As soon as the mains power comes back on then the batteries resume charging automatically.
